OSCARS 2019: Best Dressed

If there’s a time for best-dressed lists, it’s Oscar night.

Lady Gaga is having so much fun dressing up this awards season and I love it! At the 2019 Oscars, she took inspiration from my favourite fashion icon and movie legend Audrey Hepburn. She stunned in an Alexander McQueen gown and some very famous Tiffany & Co. jewels. That massive Tiffany yellow diamond, worth $30 million, was last seen on Audrey in 1962 in a shoot for Breakfast At Tiffany’s and tonight marks only the third time in history it’s ever been worn.

I’ll never turn my back on Charlize Theron. She dyed her hair dark brown and cut it slightly shorter before the award show, how major is that?! Charlize, who wore a long-sleeve light blue couture Dior gown, had help from her hairstylist Adir Abergel and makeup artist Kate Lee to perfect the look. She accessorized with a BVLGARI jewelry.

Ray of sunshine! “Crazy Rich Asians” star Constance Wu was positively floating across the red carpet. She wore a delicate pleated Versace gown with fluttery asymmetrical sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. The gown’s delicate off-shoulder neckline was trimmed in crystals, and complemented by her bevy of Neil Lane jewels.

Now, to the TOP 3 ladies who, in my opinion, brought their best superhero edge to the Oscars’ red carpet: Jennifer Lopez looked fierce in a mirrored metallic long sleeve gown by Tom Ford, Glenn Close dazzled in a custom Carolina Herrera creation that weighed a whopping 42 pounds (!!!), and Molly Sims looked ravishing in a Zuhair Murad couture gown.

Here are some of my other favourite looks of the night: Helen Mirren in Schiaparelli Haute Couture, Regina King in a white Oscar de la Renta, Yalitza Aparicio in Rodarte, Jennifer Hudson in Elie Saab Haute Couture gown and Amy Adams in Atelier Versace.
