Golden Globes 2019: Best Dressed

I guess it’s no surprise that Lady Gaga stole the show at the Golden Globes red carpet in a periwinkle Valentino gown with a chignon dyed blue.. Even though she was attracting the most attention, I personally preferred some other killer looks.

The absolute best? CHARLIZE THERON & JULIA ROBERTS.

Head to toe perfection! Charlize Theron brought her usual A-list glam to the 2019 Golden Globes, dropping jaws in a chic Dior Haute Couture gown with an oversized bow at the neckline. She accessorized her look with a slicked-back, side-parted do, dark manicure and Bulgari jewelry. Love the feminine twist on tuxedo dressing.

Julia Roberts opted for a stunning pale nude and black one-shoulder pantsuit with a tulle train from Stella McCartney. She wore diamond earrings and a bracelet from Chopard, strappy black pumps, and rocked loose waves, and soft makeup with a nude lip for the night. Seriously stylish.

There’s always one colour that seems to prevail on every major red carpet and for this one, it was all about nude and the shades of beige, pink, and cream. Kiki Layne in a Dior Haute Couture, Emmy Rossum in Monique Lhuillier and Saoirse Ronan in Gucci – they all looked stunning.

Julianne Moore easily defied her 58-years in a white Givenchy blazer-inspired halter gown, Givenchy heels and Chopard jewelry.

It goes without saying that Catherine Zeta-Jones has indelible red carpet style. But she may have outdone herself with her Elie Saab emerald-green gown with thigh-high slit.

The awards also showcased a steady stream of dramatic and unexpected fashion moments on the red carpet – Janelle Monae in Chanel, Emily Blunt in Alexander McQueen and Penélope Cruz in Ralph & Russo looked enchanted and whimsical. Plus I love the exquisite, intricate detailing on first two looks. As for Penélope, there’s no finer way to add a bit of romance to your look than by adding on a simple bow.
