Statement Earrings

Somebody once told me that personal style is like driving a car – sometimes you know exactly where are you going and sometimes you get lost along the way.

Personal style has a number of elements. It’s not only about the clothes. It’s the way people dress, the colours they choose, the way they talk and how they relate to others. The main key is staying true to yourself and things you love the most. It’s about the confidence that comes with knowing that what to put on in the morning looks great and regardless of what the day might bring. Being chic is about dressing appropriately for all occasions but also about standing out from the crowd. It’s about knowing what works for you and what doesn’t, how and when to shop, how to dress different body shapes and personalities.

You don’t have to have a big budget, a whole new wardrobe, or the latest trend to look great. So where to start? Try accessories! If there was a unifying trend amongst the countless collections that paraded down the New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Week runways, it was statement earrings. Great pair of earrings can make a look memorable. It not only finishes an outfit, it can set the tone for your look. And the best part is that it doesn’t need to cost much.

Here are some of my favourite looks for the warm summer days:

JCREW: Ivory Windbell Earrings

FREE PEOPLE: Crying Eyes Fringe Earrings

ZARA: Geometric Earrings

MANGO: Mixed Asymmetric Earrings

CLUB MONACO: Ranjana Khan Coin Earring

FREE PEOPLE: Cascading Coin Drop Earrings
